Self-Service We know how busy people are today and how frustrating it can be to get pet care services after hours and on weekends when you need it most. To use our self-service you must call in advance during office hours to ensure that shot records are current, correct and up to date in Penrod Kennels files before boarding your pet. Shot record information and payments are only processed during office hours. So, if its your first time using self service please come in during office hours to get an orientation. And remember to bring your checkbook. We don't take credit cards. Only cash and local checks. Any pet found in the self-service area without current shot record information will be quarantined and must be picked up during office hours. Quarantine boarding is $25.00 per night. Owners pet's that are quarantined could lose self service priviledges indefinitely. This policy is set in place to ensure the highest level of protection for all pet’s in the facility. Self-Service allows you to pick up and drop off your dog after the office has closed during the week at 4pm until 7pm and on the weekends from 7am through 7pm both saturday and sunday except for holidays. If you plan on picking up your dog during self-service hours you must pay in advance. No pet will be released from the self service area without payment in advance. It is highly recommended that you leave us a blank check made out to Penrod Kennels. This way you can have the widest possible use of the self-service area. Recently, we had an experience with a customer that was sure she would be back during office hours. So, she decided not to pay in advance. She didn't make it back in time due to personal problems and was upset by that. We encourage customers with hectic lives to pay in advance so they can have the widest lattitude of pick up times. If, for example, you pay through Saturday but can't make it back until Sunday your pet will not be available for pick up until Monday during office hours. If, for example, you leave us a blank check made out to Penrod Kennels you can pick up anytime from 7am thru 7pm everyday except holidays. Or, for example, if you were planning on being back on Saturday you could pay through Sunday even though your picking up on Saturday just to make sure. We can credit your account or give you a cash refund. Its no problem. Be sure to let us know on what days you might pick up so we can unlock your pet's run on those days. Come in during our office hours for an orientation. Or, if you need a reminder here's a picture tour of how to use the self-service area. Picture tour Enter the Self-Service area by the chain link gates to the left of the Main office door and follow the little blue puppy prints to the self-service door. If your paying at the time you drop your pet off, then, follow the red puppy prints to the payment box. Go inside the self serve building and find an empty pen. Put your pet inside a pen and open the doggy door by pulling this green cable and hooking it on the chain link.    Fill out the contract on the clip board and your done. |
